Instead of a hospital-like structure, Brandt’s Creek Mews consists of several smaller, self-contained “neighbourhoods” of care connected by a “Main Street” featuring amenities such as a hair salon, general store, bistro, library and technology centre. Administrative and support space is de-emphasized throughout the project while homelike features are prominent. There is a logical progression from public to semi-public to semi-private to private space throughout the residence, creating a feel of “home” for clients.
We offer on site Dietician, Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy services as well as recreational activities and rehab services 7 days each week.
CONGRATULATIONS, Brandt’s Creek Mews!
After tallying up the results at each of our Vantage Living sites, Brandt’s Creek Mews took the top spot with 70% of staff making a Change Day pledge. THANK YOU to all those that made exceptional pledges to commit to a small change that will help improve the quality of care for our residents. Great job everyone!!
Change Day is a movement to drive change and improvement in the health system. People are invited to make a pledge to commit an act of change, or to try something new, in order to improve patient care in British Columbia. Change Day is a celebration of the power of any person – patients, caregivers, health care providers, students, volunteers – to have a positive impact on the health system. Change Day was a success across Canada with over 18,000 pledges made! The province with BC easily surpassed their goal of 5000 pledges with 6195 pledges and counting!
